Bica’s Lock Shop is a family owned and operated business that was started in 1971 by Joanne Bica when her children started back in school. Joanne took a locksmithing correspondence course with the encouragement of another local locksmith C.J. Milan of Milan Key Shop in Kent, Ohio. After a number of years in business Joanne was being asked to make service calls to people's homes and businesses in the local area. Joanne's husband Joe at the time would take her to the job and help out with the locksmithing work. 50 years later the business has grown to encompass Joanne & Joe's son Joe Jr. into the family business. Bica's Lock Shop continues to be the most trusted locksmith company in Portage County, servicing law enforcement, governmental, institutional and commercial customers in the Akron, Cleveland, Canton and Youngstown areas.
